Agreement to Terms of Use
These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to the web site located at www.dcpathts.com (the “Site”) BY USING THE SITE, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.
DC Path Transportation Services (“DC Path”) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. No unauthorized use of this site or its content is allowed without written consent from DC Path Transportation Services LLC. All content and images copyright © 2023. Safety:
We take precautions to ensure the safety and health of all of our clients and chauffeurs. Our vehicles are cleaned thoroughly before every pickup.
Logistics:
Your chauffeur will send you a text message when they arrive at the pickup location.. When you are ready to come outside for pickup, please call or text your chauffeur.
Wait Time:
Your chauffeur will be at the pickup location before your scheduled pickup time.
Please note that we may charge additional fees for tolls, extra stops not listed in your reservation, and if you are late for your scheduled pickup time. Your chauffeur will wait for 15 minutes from the time of your scheduled pickup. After the complimentary 15-minute waiting period, you may be charged an additional fee at 15 minute intervals.
Sedans: $30 per 15 minute interval
SUV and Executive Sedans: $45 per 15 minute interval
Sprinter vehicles and busses: $60 per 15 minute interval
Stops
Please note that the price per stop varies based on distance and location; please contact us to request pricing. Unscheduled courtesy stops may be approved on discretion of the driver or customer service representative (CSR), for example, stopping to pick up coffee, a newspaper, etc. Courtesy stop time is not to exceed 10 minutes.
No Show Policy:
If we don’t hear from you within 30 minutes of your scheduled pickup time, your chauffeur may leave for another assignment and your service may be canceled. You will be charged the full fare cost of your reservation.
Pet Policy:
If you are traveling with a pet, please let us know in advance. All pets must be contained in a carrier. If you have a service animal, please provide our office with a copy of the official certification document. Certain additional restrictions may apply.
Car Seat:
If you are traveling with young children, please let us know. Forward facing car seats and booster seats are available at a cost. We do not provide rear-facing car seats.
Meet & Greet:
Meet & Greet airport services are available at a cost at Dulles airport. Additional parking and waiting time charges, if required, will be billed to your account or credit card.
Kindly note that due to parking difficulties at Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), we advise pick up at the curb/Arrivals passenger pick up points.
Late Cancellation policy:
We understand that plans can change and we are flexible.
For Sedans, Executive Sedans and SUVs, please cancel your reservation at least 6 hours before your scheduled pickup time to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the full fare cost of your reservation.
For Sprinter Vans, Minibus or Coach cancellations, please cancel your reservation at least two weeks before your scheduled reservation to avoid any cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than two weeks before your scheduled reservation may be charged between a $200 – $500 cancelation fee. Cancellations made within twenty-four hours of your scheduled reservation may be charged the full cost of your reservation.
Airport Transfer Policy:
For outbound flights you are responsible to check the status of your flight departure. If your flight has been canceled or rescheduled, and you wish to make changes to your reservation, please let us know. We will make every effort to accommodate the new request, however, we can not guarantee that a driver will be available to transport you to the airport at the desired time.
We monitor inbound flights and will dispatch drivers to pick up passengers based upon updated flight information. If your flight is more than 1 hour delayed, we may reschedule the assigned driver to accommodate the late arrival. If you are at your pickup location or if you are ready to be picked up and cannot locate your driver, please check your text or email messages. If you are still unable to locate your driver, please call our office directly and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Liability:
DC Path is not liable for delays caused by an Act of God, public enemies, terrorism, authority of law, quarantine, perils of navigation, riots, strikes, traffic delays, and hazards or dangers incident to a state of war, accidents, breakdowns, bad road conditions, storms, and other conditions beyond its control, and does not guarantee arrival or departure from any point at a specified time. DC Path will endeavor to maintain the schedule in the reservation but the same is not guaranteed. If any of the above actions occur and make it, in the sole opinion of DC Path, inadvisable to operate a vehicle either from the place of origin or any point en route, DC Path shall not be liable therefore, or be caused to be held for damages for any reason whatsoever.
Liability for items left in vehicles:
DC Path is not liable for articles or items left in vehicles. We will, however, make every attempt to locate and return your property but are not liable for unsecured, damaged items or if items cannot be found.
Disputes:
Corporate clients with established corporate accounts, all charges of the invoice are considered correct and due upon receipt unless we receive an objection within 10 days from the invoice date. Disputes should be emailed to us at [email protected] and the disputed charges or items should be indicated. At the sole discretion of DC Path, disputes initiated after the allowed time frame period may not be considered.
Individual accounts and personal profiles, all charges applied to the customer’s credit card are considered correct unless we receive an objection within 15 days from the charge date. At the sole discretion of DC Path, disputes initiated after the allowed time frame period may not be considered.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
VEHICLES CAN NOT BE LOADED BEYOND SEATING CAPACITY.
SMOKING, VAPING, ILLEGAL USE OF ALCOHOL (if passengers are under the age of 21), AND/OR NARCOTICS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES AND IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE TRIP. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
CLIENT ASSUMES FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES INCURRED TO THE VEHICLE BY HIS/HER PARTY DURING TIME OF SERVICE.
A CLEANING FEE OF $350 WILL BE CHARGED IF ANY PASSENGER VOMITS IN THE VEHICLE.
IN THE EVENT OF MISCONDUCT BY CLIENT AND OR HIS/HER PARTY, CHAUFFEUR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE SERVICES WITHOUT REFUND.
CLIENT AGREES TO HOLD DC PATH TRANSPORTATION SERVICES HARMLESS AND NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL OR MATERIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONDUCT OF CLIENT OR HIS/HER PARTY
ANY CHANGES TO THE RESERVATION, INCLUDING OVERTIME CHARGES, MAY
RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Governing Law; Dispute Resolution:
You agree that all matters relating to your access to or use of the Site, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions.
Any claim under these Terms of Use must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or such claim or cause of action is barred. In the event of any controversy or dispute between DC Path and you arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, the parties shall attempt, promptly and in good faith, to resolve any such dispute. If we are unable to resolve any such dispute within a reasonable time (not to exceed thirty (30) days), then either party may submit a request to resolve the dispute through arbitration in accordance with the then-current rules of the American Arbitration Association. The location of the arbitration will be in Washington, DC (USA). The decision of the arbitrator will be binding on the parties and enforceable in a court of law.
